International Commercial Graduate Programme

Our International Commercial Graduate Programme is designed to usher you on board Borealis and to help you guide your career path into a commercial management role in our Polyolefins or Base Chemicals Business Group.
As part of the programme you will be offered extensive training which wil focus on five axes:
- Introduction to the Borealis Group
- Close collaboration with all functions in the Business Unit , where you will be responsible for several projects. Such projects are all related to Commercial Excellence and the Business Unit and involve close collaboration with the Sales, Technical Service, Marketing and Application departments
- Development training in Production, Credit Department, Supply Chain and Innovation and Technology
- Collective trainings (with other trainees) on presentation and negotiation skills, creative leadership, innovation and marketing programmes, technical aspects of Borealis' products and services, and cross cultural awareness
- Individual trainings are based on your personal assessment during the Recruitment Event
This training takes place at several European locations for a period of 12-14 months, after which you will be assigned to a Commercial role.
To make your integration and training successful, you will be part of a Business Unit where a so-called buddy, who will provide you with support and guidance during the programme, will be assigned to you.

If you are a self-motivated and assertive graduate or early career professional:
- Bearing a business or technical degree and an outstanding academic track record;
- With no more than two years’ professional experience, if any;
- Legally entitled to work in the European Union, and fluent in English plus either French, German, Italian, Dutch, Swedish, Finnish, Spanish or Russian;
- Keen to use international mobility to broaden your horizons;
- Possessing strong commercial drive and ready to develop your leadership potential;
- With a passion for creating smart and simple solutions;
- Employing excellent interpersonal and communications skills;
- With a talent for negotiation and for wielding influence.
