The new Borstar-Sirius technology enables a step change in product performance
Using a proprietary Sirius™ catalyst in the Borstar® polypropylene (PP)
production technology adds novel characteristics to PP. This technology
platform allows for production of superior polypropylene
that will contribute to product differentiation and productivity

Borclear RE936CF provides superior optical properties at very high film line speeds
Borclear™ RE936CF is designed to reduce surface texture (orange peel) at high film line speeds. It allows stable cast film production at speeds of up to 450m/min and this with equal or even superior optical properties.
RE936CF is a medium ethylene random copolymer formulated with slip and antiblocking additives.

When comparing the film properties of Borclear RE936CF to reference random copolymers such as RD226CF, a great improvement in gloss is observed.
Gloss and haze for 50µm monolayer cast film
Borclear RE936CF demonstrates superior optical properties even
after steam sterilisation, which makes the product extremely
suitable for sterilised ready-to-eat meal packaging.
Borclear RE936CF provides fast slip migration. As a
result, low COF values are obtained soon after film production. This is
important to ensure good winding behaviour and easy handling in further
winding and converting steps.

With a flexural modulus of 550MPa, Borseal RE939CF and RE909CF enable the production of very soft and extremely transparent films.
Borseal RE939CF and RE909CF are high ethylene random copolymers.
RE939CF is formulated with slip and antiblocking additives.
RE909CF is slip and antiblock free and is an ideal blending partner for
RE939CF to obtain the right slip properties for your applications.

Used as a thin sealing layer, they provide
low sealing temperatures compared to all other random
copolymers. Our proprietary Sirius-Borstar technology
makes it possible to incorporate a very high level of ethylene
content with relatively low extractable levels,
