| Random Copolymers Random copolymers (RACO) are produced by statistical insertion of units of ethylene or higher a-olefins (mostly butene, also in combination with ethyle to give terpolymers). Through this, the glass transition temperature and melting point are lower than in homopolymers, allowing better sealability and application at temperatures below 0°C. |
