In this role you will ensure stable base resin flow from suppliers to our compounding assets. You will work in close operation with supply planners and production schedulers to ensure smooth operations in our compounding assets. You will be responsible for translating base resin plans into detailed base resin schedules while managing defined inventory and safety stock levels.

Your areas of responsibilities are…

  • Translate the base resin plan into a detailed schedule and call-off base resin materials from suppliers
  • Provide feedback on feasibility of schedule to supply planning and production scheduling
  • Develop schedules with minimal cost for ordering and delivering the required components including scheduled receipts, planned release of make and buy orders
  • Optimize base resin order size and ensure accuracy of all stocks by timely and accurate goods receipt
  • Manage local inventory and safety stocks of base resins: schedule orders, manage slow moving stock, ensure accuracy of base resin stock levels by timely and accurate goods receipt.

Your skills and experience…

  • Bachelor degree (business/logistics oriented education) and/or minimum 2 to 3 years’ experience (preferably within the Supply Chain area)
  • German and English: advanced knowledge, spoken and written
  • Basic knowledge of Supply Chain processes with expertise in minimum one core order fulfilment area (transportation, supply planning or sales order execution)
  • Familiar with logistics offerings and service level guidelines
  • Advanced computer skills (MS office)
  • ERP tool experience (preferred: SAP-APO + R/3)
  • Excellent Team Player and communication skills (both verbally and written)
  • Excellent internal and external networking capabilities
  • Stress resistant

This is a temporary position limited for 2 years.

Following Austrian law regulations we offer, reflecting your experiences, skills and competencies, competitive compensation based on the collective labour agreement chemical industry starting at EUR 44.286,62 annual gross salary and are willing to pay more based on your experience and background. In addition, we offer a yearly bonus and a voluntary company pension plan.
