L'activité Azote de Borealis

Le site de Grand-Quevilly est situé dans la zone portuaire de Rouen, il est le plus grand site de production Borealis en France.

1 Business Process Expert (F/M)

We are looking for a Business Process Expert, to support achieving world-class business process performance, and operational excellence by developing, implementing and supporting the business processes as well as related IT systems including their functionalities within Operations and HSEQ.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Develop the business processes and IT system strategy to ensure standard solutions and best practises across Borealis.
  • Manage improvement portfolio and ensure continuous improvement of relevant IT systems as well as identify competence and training needs to support operational excellence.
  • Translate business process requirements and plans into functional requirements and proactively drive further development of implemented system functionalities.
  • Lead/participate in cross-functional business process and IT system development projects and task forces.
  • Develop and maintain relevant system training material and test scripts.
  • Manage user networks for relevant system solutions, including coordination of master data and authorisation profiles.
  • Business process elements (description, assessment check list, training material and “WGLL” good practices) and requirements for related IT systems and tools, i.e. functional specifications.
  • Effective and nimble IT systems supporting common business processes and common best practises
  • Continuous improvement based on performance metrics, assurance, management reviews and benchmarks

  • Act as business partner with the respective functional manager(s) as main management contact by adding value to decisions and questions from all stakeholders through basic understanding of the underlying business issues and context.

  • Act as business partner with the respective functional manager(s) as main management contact.
  • Establish as reliable business partner for the different stakeholders when responding to
  • Requests.
  • Adequate knowledge of standard IT systems and international trends as well as proven ability to recognise best practises and manage changes through all the organisation.
  • Strong interfaces especially with peers within the Operations, HSEQ and Business Support Group.
  • Excellence of design and function as well as continuous improvement of IT systems for respective business process area within Borealis OPS (overall 25 plants 4 locations and over 6Mio t/a)

Experience :

  • Min. 5 years of experience of core manufacturing processes and business project management.
  • Adequate knowledge of standard IT systems and international trends as well as proven ability to recognise best practises and manage changes in the organisation.
  • Solid IT knowledge and basic Borealis business and internal process understanding.
  • Business understanding.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Authority in the area of expertise.
  • Data interpretation & validation Performance management & controlling.
  • Strong skills in SAP Software.
  • Communication & presentation skills.

Education :

  • Master degree or Bachelor degree or equivalent by relevant experience.
  • Mastery of English at business level.
  • Mastery of processes (production processes and business processes like Produce, Maintain, Develop, etc.).
  • Mastery of French (mother tongue) of English.

Employment and location facts :

The position is located in France, Le Grand-Quevilly and will report to the Manager Asset Health experts.

Some travel must be expected.
