The Group Compliance & Ethics Coordinator plays an integral role in the organisation’s data protection management. He/she is part of a team that monitors and continuously improves the Borealis Compliance Management System, manages IT-based compliance applications and supports reporting and communication to staff members.

Key functions/responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor existing E-learning provision and support in development and improvement of further compliance-based IT applications
  • Support the organization´s data protection management, with a perspective to develop and assume further responsibilities in this area
  • Conduct compliance trainings in the locations of the organization
  • Oversee available e-learning courses
  • Prepare dedicated and tailored trainings for relevant employee groups
  • Compile statistics and other compliance related facts and figures
  • Support in the conduct of investigations
  • Draft newsletters and articles for the company intranet and maintain close communication with the Borealis Ethics Ambassadors

Could you be the person that we are searching for?

You hold a degree in an IT-related or other relevant discipline and can demonstrate and advanced understanding of IT-based information management and tools. You will be able to demonstrate a basic understanding of data protection principles and an ability to manage information in a structured way. You will be fluent in English in both verbal and written communication.

Legal Requirements

Following Austrian law regulations, we offer, reflecting your experiences, skills and competencies, competitive compensation based on the collective labour agreement starting at EUR 59600 annual gross salary (based on 38 hrs/week) and are willing to pay more based on your experience and background. In addition, we offer a yearly bonus and a voluntary company pension plan.
