Would you enjoy being part of our expansion journey? We are currently seeking for a combined role of Country Finance Manager and Group Consolidation Manager to join our team in Austria. (Linz)

Role Overview:

You will play a pivotal role within the Finance division by overseeing group consolidation and IFRS reporting for LAT Nitrogen Group of companies and managing the local Finance team for two of our main countries: Austria and Germany. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and implementing accounting policies and processes for the LAT Nitrogen Group of companies. This role involves leading a team of accounting and tax specialists located in Austria.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Oversee Group consolidation and reporting process according to IFRS
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly and annual closing and reporting for companies in Austria and Germany
  • Coordinate activities with financial auditors, actuaries and owner’s finance team
  • Prepare the annual Financial Statements for companies in the two countries indicated
  • Maintain accurate and complete accounting records and documentation
  • Report financial results to various stakeholders
  • Manage relationships with local tax authorities
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies, ensuring their implementation and adherence
  • Advise business colleagues in various projects and initiatives
  • Partner with IT for ERP system extensions (SAP)
  • Contribute to LAT Nitrogen’s creditworthiness by providing accurate information to financing banks, suppliers and trading partners
  • Develop and motivate your team
  • Coach and train finance colleagues on group accounting, reporting, and IFRS

Job requirements:

  • Master's degree in Finance, along with a chartered accountant (CPA) or tax advisory degree.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in an international company
  • Background in audit companies is advantageous
  • SAP knowledge and experience
  • Strong people management skills and proven ability to develop others.
  • Exceptional coaching, training, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong conceptual thinking and commercial awareness.

Language Requirements:

  • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
  • Proficiency in German (both written and spoken).
  • Knowledge of additional European languages is a valuable asset.
