Are you looking for a chance to drive an organisation forward with your expertise? As a Demand Response Expert you will be responsible for monitoring and steering the execution of the demand plan with the objective to maximise margins in balance with customer experience. In this challenging role you will ensure that the demand plan is executed by following up on the order income of the relevant business cluster as well as propose and initiate corrective actions.

In our ambition to drive forward, we expect you to

  • Ensure that the defined segmentation rules are enforced during execution of the demand plan in your area, specifically regarding to product prioritization and service levels.
  • Collect and leverage downstream channel data in your decisions and to initiate actions towards the sales community in case of demand shortfalls.
  • Apply demand response processes, rules and tools as applicable to the respective business cluster and contribute to their improvement.
  • Provide proposals for margin and volume thresholds used to steer the demand response process and to give quantitative input to the demand planning team as preparation for the following planning cycle.
  • Analyse the current order income of the relevant business cluster, to determine expected over-/underselling of the plan, open forecast volume, level of cancellations and to provide the information to the different stakeholders.
  • Request increased supply based on the service level guidelines of segmentation in case of unplanned demand.
  • Offer excess inventories to sales, collect and prioritize sales opportunities.
  • Support in abnormal demand scenarios by responding to supply disruptions and providing analysis and solution proposals for quality decision-making as well as aligns with the Demand Planners on mid-term impact.

 Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

  • Strong self-confidence and stress resilience, combined with the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Challenger of information combining data driven decision making with industry know-how related to the respective business cluster.
  • 2 years’ experience in Demand or Supply Planning or Customer Service
  • 5+ years’ experience in a commercial, business, operations or supply chain environment.
  • Advanced skill set with MS Excel is a must


  • University degree in a related field (Supply Chain, Business Management, Economics, Engineering).
  • Preferred: S&OP/Supply Chain professional training, SAP-APO + R/3 or comparable planning and ERP tools knowledge.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Commercial literacy.

This is a temporary position limited for 2 years.

We offer a competitive compensation based on the collective labour agreement, reflecting your competencies and experience, starting at EUR 40.123,02 annual gross salary and are willing to pay more based on your experience and background. In addition, we offer a yearly bonus and a voluntary company pension plan.
