Your responsibilities are:

The key purpose of the role is to support the optimisation of the energy usage and the reduction of Greenhouse Gas emissions (GHG) for our company.

You will work on projects as well supporting the strategy development on energy efficiency and GHG emission of our plants. With your stakeholders you will implement the strategic initiatives at the location(s) and you take care about the local and EU legislative and regulatory matters. The monthly reporting and designing of ISO Energy procedures as well of production volumes in our locations will be in your area of responsibility.

  • Support and work on the overall group Energy& GHG program and targets.
  • Co-develop energy & GHG initiatives together with plants and locations
  • Coordinate energy studies, screenings and plant benchmarks or any other requirements from authorities (organise and ensure appropriate energy & CO2 data collection and forecast)
  • Coordinate and ensure energy & emissions management system at location(s) support external/internal audit activity.
  • Ensure that at local level funding, subsidies and tax relief for energy related studies, investments and energy supplies is being pursued
  • Stimulate initiation and support implementation of key energy efficiency studies & projects; keep up-to-date with emerging energy technologies and introduce them into local organisation
  • Support the work on plant profitability through participation on benchmark activities and monthly reporting

About you:

  • You hold an Master degree in an relevant engineering subject from acknowledged university, or equivalent
  • Work experience in a Production, Technical Development or Energy Management role is favourable
  • You have a good understanding of the production processes and of the interactions and interdependencies between plants
  • You have experience in Process Engineering, Energy & GHG reduction programs
  • You have knowledge of engineering tools
  • You have project management skills and an analytical thinking
  • You have an good business understanding, Commercial awareness and customer orientation
  • You demonstrate high levels of safety awareness, integrity and ethics
  • You are a good networker in an international and multicultural context, cultural awareness
