Do you want to drive Borealis Employee Benefit activities pro-actively forward? Do you excel in delivering top quality service for a variety of stakeholders? If your answer is "yes" and you have solid experience and knowledge in the field of pension & insurances, we would love to meet you.

As Expert Pension & Insurance (f/m) you provide Employee Benefits expertise to the group-wide Human Resource community and drive the Borealis Employee Benefit activities pro-actively forward. Within the set strategic framework, you contribute to the design, development and implementation as well as governance of group wide Employee Benefit processes and instructions and support the knowledge transfer to the HR community. In collaboration with your line manager, you assure alignment on Employee Benefit topics within all countries and fulfil an overall coordinator role on Borealis Employee Benefit plans. In liaison with internal partners and global communities you provide related services at group level. Furthermore you are responsible for the administration of Global Employee Benefit plans at group level.

Your main tasks include:

  • provide guidance and support to the HR organisation in all related matters (process design, development of procedures, functional coordination of system changes and communication etc.)
  • lead and participate in various Employee Benefit projects
  • act as contact person for HR community and other internal partners, such as Accounting, Funding, legal etc. for questions related to company sponsored Employee Benefit plans
  • Demonstrate strong customer service focus and analytical skills for issue resolutions
  • Organise tender processes in connection with contracts for pension and benefit services and providers
  • Showcase people and cost implications of decisions on Employee Benefit topics to stakeholders and ensure internal processes are being followed
  • Ensure knowledge transfer on global Employee Benefit processes and instructions and support the HR community to act on them
  • Drive a culture of continuous learning by participating in external networks and conferences

Your profile:

  • Master degree in business administration or law or equivalent relevant experience
  • Mastery of English at business level
  • Overall IT and systems proficiency
  • 10 years relevant HR experience, including 5+ years of Employee Benefit experience
  • Experience with different working environments: operational, commercial and support departments
  • Good project management skills
  • High customer orientation and understanding of service delivery excellence
  • Experience in an international / multicultural environment
  • Basic understanding of IAS 19 and the link between DB/DC plans
  • Strong analytic and organisational skills combined with strong communication and interpersonal skills

Following Austrian law regulations we offer, reflecting your experiences, skills and competencies, a competitive compensation based on the Austrian collective labour agreement starting at EUR 78.240,00 gross (based on a base salary pursuant to section 2 para 2 lit 9 AVRAG in the amount of gross EUR 3.066,53 per month for Verwendungsgruppe V, Verwendungsgruppenjahr 2)
