Expert Technical Inspections & Integrity (m/f/d)

Borealis attaches importance on plants and facilities in perfect function. Running the plants safely and in accordance with legal and regulatory compliance is a matter of responsibility. The regulations demand various documental and practical obligations (explosion protection, burning liquids, gas storage,…) and upfront evaluation of dangers (HAZOP, PAAG,…).

 

In your role, you will:

  • Monitor and track developments and the state of the art in relevant industries
  • Develop a strategy for inspections together with internal & external experts
  • Evaluate and implement Best Practice in testing
  • Coordinate and perform acceptance tests and technical inspections
  • Ensure a both smart and safe inspection philosophy
  • Train relevant technicians, supervisors and leaders in focus points
  • Build relations with stakeholders and integrate in networks
  • Train, facilitate and coach the local organization in consistent application of the policies, systems & tools
  • Develop an understanding of the Borealis’ organization and it’s way of working

 

Your knowledge, skills and experience:

  • Master’s degree in technical aspects or equivalent
  • Several years of relevant industrial experience
  • Recognized expertise in respective discipline and related operational areas
  • Knowledge of legal requirements and regulatory state of the art
  • Excellent German skills
  • English at high level

Following Austrian law regulations, we offer, reflecting your experiences, skills and competencies, competitive compensation based on the collective labour agreement chemical industry starting at EUR 61.167,54,- annual gross salary (based on 38 hrs/week) and are willing to pay more based on your experience and background. In addition, we offer a yearly bonus and a voluntary company pension plan
