As a Group Site Buyer, you will ensure in the most cost effective way, the local supply of spare parts, mainly electrical consumables and mechanical parts for maintenance, as requested by our colleagues in “Plant Availability & Turnaround”. Your main areas of responsibility include amongst others:

  • Placing purchase orders to suppliers based on approved purchase requisitions from stake holders, mainly “Plant Availability & Turnaround”
  • Updating the purchase order based on received order acknowledgements from suppliers
  • Follow-up delivery dates, supplier quality and delivery performance
  • Solve invoice workflows
  • Close collaboration with our “Plant Availability & Turnaround” department in general and also in specific for updates on item descriptions, purchase requisitions etc.

You are the right candidate for this position if you possess the following experience, knowledge and skills:

  • Secondary education or University degree with background in business or technology
  • Minimum of 2 years previous experience in procurement
  • Knowledge of SAP (procurement modules)
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Good team working and communication skills, analytical thinking

Other information:

Following Austrian law regulations we offer, reflecting your experiences, skills and competencies, competitive compensation based on the collective labour agreement chemical industry starting at around EUR 44.286,62 annual gross salary and are willing to pay considerably more, depending on your experience and fit with the profile.

Please consider that we offer a temporary contract as this is a substitute for a sick-leave.
