Borealis is looking for an IT Key Account Manager for the 'IT Industrial Solutions' Business unit.
The Key Account Manager identifies Business requirements and defines the right prioritised value-add IT, maximizing the effectivity of IT resources. In this role, you will lead and facilitate idea/concept/business model generation with the IT Industrial Solutions. Specifically, you will lead the preparation and execution of the 3-year Business unit plan, in alignment with Business representatives. Furthermore, you will translate the Business unit strategy into IT road maps and a project portfolio.
You will be expected to: • Engage in ongoing communication and consultation with the Business unit’ representatives to review and reassess the priorities of projects and initiatives in the pipeline; • Monitor Business and IT trends, within the company and on the market;• Ensure successful implementation, from idea till benefit tracking, of the solutions within the portfolio;• Lead and facilitate, in cooperation with the Business Controller, the tracking of the benefits/value (ROI) of the larger implementations;• Act as an escalation point for Business and drive solution development for IT related Business issues;• Provide IT Management and Council with reliable, relevant Business unit specific financial data;• Manage, control, forecast and report on the budget of the application portfolio.
Is managing customer relationships your passion and are you exceptionally good at seeing opportunities and determining priorities? Then we are curious to meet you. The right candidate for this position holds a Master’s degree in computer science, engineering or economics, with more than 10 years of IT work experience in various IT roles in an international matrix organisation. You have proven Project Management (agile) experience and solid, broad Business knowledge of core and supporting processes. You are analytical and conceptual, and you are both process- and customer oriented. Additionally, you are result driven and a team player. To be a successful IT Key Account Manager you have a natural curiosity, which leads you to being innovative and identifying opportunities instinctively. Furthermore, you are proactive in putting these ideas and solutions forward. Your English communication, presentation and negotiation skills are excellent.
