We are looking for a Marketing & Communication Specialist to support our team being the first point of contact for regional external and internal communication activities and requests. By driving, facilitating and coordinating of a wide spectrum of communication matters through the available communication channels you will support the company, brand reputation and overall NITRO / Borealis L.A.T strategy.


Your main tasks and responsibilities 

  • Plan and implement regional communication activities in line with overall Borealis strategy and in close cooperation with relevant departments
  • Deliver first-hand consultation and support to all communication related partners in a region (e.g. leadership teams, employees, local media etc.)
  • Support the organisation of local events and ensure participation and awareness internally and externally
  • Support brand management and act as guardian of brand consistency and CI conformity in all activities
  • Define local Marketing Communication budget needs and allocate efficiently, budget control
  • Negotiate media placement and plan, fill insertion orders, and manage the media plan closely in order to ensure frequent, timely and positive media coverage
  • Implement customer campaigns according to business needs
  • Placement of appealing website content on the country page in alignment with the Digital Marketing Specialist, acting as country editor
  • Copywriting texts and formulating attractive messages, target-group specific
  • Regular reporting  of internal and external campaigns and their development


Your profile: Knowledge & Skills, Experience

  • University degree in Marketing/Communications/Communications sciences
  • Preferably 3-5 years of working experience in Communications/PR
  • Understanding of offline and online Communication channels, SEO and SEM are familiar terms and well-known from experience
  • French and Mastery of English at business level
  • Background in and/or willingness to understand the agronomy business and the French agro-media landscape
  • Compiling and presenting data in order to facilitate decision making
  • Advanced ability to work independently and proactively, with “can-do” attitude
  • Experience in working in an international, multi-cultural matrix organisation
  • Basic understanding of graphic tools is a plus


Employment and location facts

The position is located in France, Le Grand-Quevilly and will report to Kaatje Caignie, Head of Communications, NITRO. Some travel must be expected.
