We are looking for a motivated Advanced Process Control Engineer for our technical development team in petrochemical production plant in Porvoo, Finland.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience
We expect you to have a master’s degree preferably in process automation or chemical engineering, and/or equivalent working experience. In order to succeed in this position you should be eager to learn the production process, and it is an advantage if you already have experience in advanced process control (e.g. Napcon) or automation systems (e.g. Valmet DNA). You are also a fluent communicator in Finnish and in English.
We wish you to be an active person who has strong motivation to cooperate successfully with others in a team. You have courage to make decisions by yourself, and prioritising and managing your own work is familiar for you. We hope you already have some experience in handling projects sustainably by involving and engaging others to do their best.In Borealis, safety is priority number one, so you have a strong focus to proactively promote and drive health, safety and environmental awareness and behaviour. To achieve the best results in this position, you will also need analytical thinking skills and you are capable to network fluently.
