Role PurposeThe function holder is responsible for running tasks in plant management as well as the continuous improvement of the production unit including focus on HSE&Quality issues

Contribution

  • Gives support to minimize plant OAE-losses and transition volumes
  • Continuous improvement of the operating instructions
  • Continuous improvement of plant performance: TBW, test runs, problem solving
  • Responsible for the root cause studies and data analysis
  • Coordinates test run planning, follow-up and reporting
  • Inputs for update of training manuals
  • Ensures claim handling
  • Responsible for the studies and small modifications that are carried out by production organization together with production specialists
  • Ensures that HSE-systems and processes work reliably on practical level. Examples: MOC-process works effectively (plant modifications, new chemicals),
  • Ensures that HSE-deviations are corrected effectively
  • Responsible for the effective HSE-system implementation with production manager, including training of HSE-issues and -attitude
  • Responsible to give input to Technical Development on improvement opportunities
  • Manufacturing representative in studies and projects
  • Deputy of the production manager in case of absence according to the local agreement
  • Support training and challenge of shift and day organization in order to optimize plant performance
  • Plant contact person in daily issues for QC, supply chain, cracker, material handling, PA&T, TD&E.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Masters or Bachelors degree from technical university or equivalent
  • fluent in German (mother tongue or professional level)
  • very good knowledge of English
  • Mastery of relevant IT and simulation tools is a benefit
  • 3 – 5 years experience in positions of responsibility in production environment would be an advantage

Following Austrian law regulations we offer, reflecting your experiences, skills and competencies, competitive compensation based on the collective labour agreement chemical industry starting at around EUR 52.000,00 annual gross salary overtime included. In addition we offer a yearly bonus and a voluntary company pension plan.
