Are you looking for an opportunity to drive a sales organization forward with your expertise?

We are looking for you, if you have a strong background in sales and account management yourself in a commercially mature organization, and want to collaborate with our sales organization on a strategic level to lead the implementation of specific initiatives of a global Commercial Excellence transformation. These initiatives have top strategic priority for Borealis. You will therefore form the foundation for how Borealis will approach commercial activities going forward.

 

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Excellence, your main tasks and responsibilities in this role will be:

  • Be responsible for leading initiatives in Commercial Excellence from start to finish across multiple industry clusters and business units (Advanced Products, Pipe, Energy, Automotive and Consumer Products)
  • Provide strategic leadership through partnership and project management for the global implementation of these initiatives, starting with Account Management
  • Work closely with business units and the sales organization to ensure that improvement opportunities are identified and validated
  • Challenge the businesses towards committing to and achieving aspirational targets
  • Ensure that the training and adoption of existing and upcoming initiatives and modules is successfully accomplished for all businesses across the company
  • Create and lead individual working / coaching / training sessions for account managers
  • Conduct complex analytics such as independently identifying and quantifying improvement opportunities at an account and segment level

 

Your profile:

For this role, you will need to have a strong commercial background in (strategic) sales, account management and/or consultancy in B2B industrial / product-based companies. Experience in the chemical industry and with Salesforce.com are a bonus. We expect you to hold a Masters and/or MBA degree in a relevant field.

Your drive and passion are a crucial base for your success. You are a hands-on person but at the same time, you can rely on your strong analytical skills, supported by modeling skills, to be able to assess and quantify the impact of new opportunities. You like to connect themes and people to develop options and to solve conceptual challenges in a creative way.

You know how to effectively assert, influence and connect to multiple stakeholders to get everyone on board, even if sometimes interests are diverging.

This role is based in our Vienna Headoffice. Please expect business travel of about 20 %.

 

The salary is attractive and competitive, reflecting your experiences, skills and competencies. It is based on the collective labour agreement starting at EUR 80.800,- annual gross salary and we are willing to pay more based on your experience and background. In addition, we offer a yearly bonus and a voluntary company pension plan.
