We are looking forward to welcoming a compensation and benefits specialist / team leader employee services (payroll) for the Belgian-Dutch region!

 

Are you looking for a chance to drive an organization forward with your relevant expertise?

As a Reward Specialist (50%) you will have the opportunity to experience the dynamics of a reward strategy in an international environment. As a team leader (50%) you will guide and inspire a team of 9 payroll responsible persons. The position is located in Beringen, but you will be active in the region Belgium (Kallo/Zwijndrecht/Mechelen) and The Netherlands  (Geleen) in which we have multiple locations.

In our challenge to drive forward, we expect the following from you:

  • You implement and manage, in cooperation with the reward team and the HR Service Manager, products and services within the areas of Compensation & Benefits, Pension & Insurances and International Assignments and Cross-border workers
  • You will get the opportunity to work on reward projects. The projects can be driven by optimization of reward packages, changes in labour or tax law, implementation of new HR processes
  • You give advice and communicate clearly in reward related topics to our payroll team, HR Business Partners, line managers, employees and authorities
  • You prepare relevant HR statistics and data in cooperation with your payroll team
  • You facilitate the payroll runs and time data entries in SAP and perform quality checks on the activities of your team
  • You will steer and motivate your team in a broad spectrum of administrative areas for the assigned employee population
  • You will be responsible for the performance dialogues of your team members

We have a match if you ...

  • are a respectful team player with a great eye for details and knowledge of labour law, legal and social tax regulations
  • are preferably in the possession of a Master's degree in Economics, Social Sciences or Law
  • have 3-5 years of experience as a reward specialist and have taken up a supervisory role before
  • own a great drive to push things forward and strive to deliver results with a strong customer oriented focus
  • communicate in a clear and effective way in Dutch and English
  • can count on your good IT skills (especially excel), being part of your strengths
  • have knowledge of SAP-HR as a strong plus
