What this role offers you

The Sales Manager is accountable for ensuring that his/her subsidiary delivers products and services to satisfy customer demands and achieves defined targets, by developing, proposing and implementing an agreed sales plan. He/she manages major customers in a defined area

What your role contributes to the success of Borealis L.A.T

  • Develop, propose and deliver the agreed sales plan (volume, price, customer and product mix) including optimisation on customer and product mix
  • Contribute to the BU/subsidiary´s strategy in advising the BU/subsidiary on segments, customers, suppliers, regions and other developments
  • Provides information related to market developments, new products, major product and competitor moves
  • Actively supports development of specialties business in respective area in terms of formulas (product mix), quantities, specific market studies and questionnaires, marketing events
  • Manage customers to optimise our business in line with BU/subsidiary´s strategy
  • Identify and develop new opportunities to achieve BU/subsidiary´s strategy
  • Improve commercial position by building strong customer/supplier relationships
  • Manage after-sales/purchasing activities (claim, payment,….) to meet agreed targets
  • Support Area Sales manager/GM of subsidiary in execution of credit management standards
  • Seek to exceed the customer´s expectations and make unusual efforts to meet customer needs and resolve complex problems and complains
  • Cooperates with customer service representatives to ensure high level of performance
  • Manage the customer interface (Logistics/Financial) to deliver agreed customer requirements

What is required from you

  • Academic or post school vocational education
  • Native Romanian and fluent English language knowledge
  • 6+ years relevant working experience in agribusiness
  • Residence in one of the counties of the East- and Northeast region of Romania
  • Good knowledge of fertilizer products and agricultural branch
  • Knowledge of customers conversion process
  • Marketing understanding
  • Commercial awareness
