Do you want to join Borealis team in the role of Sales Manager? We are currently looking for a Sales Manager in the business unit of Fertilizer in the geographical region of The Netherlands and Nordics. The Sales Manager is responsible for ensuring the business unit delivers products and services to satisfy customer demands and achieve defined targets, by developing, proposing and implementing an agreed sales plan.

Your main areas of responsibility include amongst others:

  • Develop, propose and deliver the agreed sales plan (volume, price, customer and product mix) including optimisation on customer and product mix
  • Contribute to the strategy in advising on segments, customers, suppliers, regions and other developments
  • Manage customers to optimise our business in line with strategy
  • Identify and develop new opportunities to achieve the defined strategy
  • Processes Sales Negotiations.
  • Makes agreements regarding the delivered quantity and prices, within the limits determined. Makes individual contracts, within the limits determined.
  • Attends the existing customer relationship and searches for new ones in the region and organise visits with customers
  • Takes care of the competitors’ market activity, the reactions of customers, customers’ habits as well as the change of prices.
  • Collects the relevant market information.

You are the right candidate for this position if you possess the following experience, knowledge and skills:

  • Education: Agricultural or business education (Bachelor)
  • 3 years experience in agriculture related sales is highly appreciated
  • Good English language
  • Knowledge of agricultural market
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Good computer skills (Microsoft office)
  • Ability to travel for about 50% of the working time
  • Drivingslicence required
