Borealis NITRO is a member of Borealis group and specializes in the production and distribution of melamine, fertilizers and technical nitrogen sold to customers mainly in Europe. We are looking for talents in various areas of business to help build an independent NITRO organization.
Right now, we are looking for a Senior Group Accountant to support our organization development. As Group Accountant you will perform transactional accounting and reporting services for the Borealis NITRO organization.
Some of your tasks to support the NITRO organization
- Month-end closing preparation and support, inter-company reconciliations, accruals, journal entry postings.
- Calculation, compilation, invoicing, and posting of various defined intra-group procedures and intra-group service contracts.
- Maintenance and coordination of central closing checklists and process timeline.
- Reporting support, e.g. for tax and statistical reporting and others.
- Reconciliations, checks, and controls for general ledger and travel accounting.
- Participation in finance, organizational, and improvement projects.
- Support in implementing and documenting accounting processes.
What is required from you?
- University degree or similar education
- 3-5 years of accounting experience in an international company
- Experience in a shared service centre environment
- Transition and change experience
- Fluent in English, knowledge of German or French on top would be an asset
- Excel, SAP (FI-CO) is a must have, AFO experience is a plus
- Pro-active mind set
- Good communication skills
