We are looking for a systematic and co-operative System Specialist to support our Turnaround organisation based in Kilpilahti, Porvoo.

Would you like to be part of the exciting future of Borealis and go beyond boundaries as our new System Specialist?In this role, you are a member of the Plant Availability and Turnaround unit and you are responsible of developing, implementing and supporting the processes, systems and related functionality’s for Turnaround on a Group level. You will manage and support Turnaround related systems to ensure standard solutions and best practices across Borealis.

In this role, these will be your main tasks:

  • You will proactively drive and coordinate further development of implemented system functionality’s and participate in the overall design.
  • You will lead and/or participate in cross-functional projects or task forces of Operations and especially within turnaround.
  • Manage user networks for relevant system solutions, including coordination of maintenance master data
  • Coordinate and develop relevant system training material, procedures, guidelines and education programs
  • Contribute in assessments and benchmarking in the respective process areas and initiate improvements in identified area’s

What makes you the perfect fit for this role?

You have preferable a Master’s degree from an acknowledged University and high understanding of the industry. You have already minimum of 10 years of experience in plant availability, engineering or related processes. Earlier knowledge of project management and overall understanding of manufacturing, maintenance and engineering helps you to succeed in this role. As we are working in multicultural working environment and you being the key contact person between Plant Availability business representatives, you should be a fluent communicator in Finnish and in English.

You are mastery of prioritising, solving problems and taking responsible of decisions. In this role, we need a person who have excellent analytical and conceptual thinking capacity and strong motivation to develop continuously our processes and solutions. Your excellent teamwork and co-operational skills helps you to build a broad contact network inside and outside Borealis.

The position will be located in Kilpilahti industrial area in Porvoo, around 30 minutes away from Helsinki city by car. Borealis also arranges bus transportation for our employees from Helsinki and Porvoo and the surrounding areas.
