We are looking for curious, driven and inventive engineers in 

Borealis Antwerpen (Zwijndrecht) and Borealis Polymers (Beringen)

to be assigned to one of the following areas: Technical Development or Production!

Your main responsibilities

We offer you an exciting and challenging job with a great portfolio of responsibilities in an innovative and growing company.


* As a Process Engineer, these will be your main responsibilities:

    • You improve the short and long-term efficiency of the plants by actively advising the organisation on processes, procedures and projects on local level.
    • You identify, initiate and lead investigations of medium severity incidents or contribute to investigations of high severity incidents to solve complex technical issues in a structural way.
    • You are responsible for small to medium sized projects or contribute in larger projects.
    • You show capability to develop innovative technical solutions.
    • You develop local procedures and processes under guidance of experts.


* As a Production Engineer, these will be your main responsibilities:

    • You support the department in all technical aspects of your allocated area to improve the plant results in compliance with all requirements regarding safety, health, environment, quality and logistics
    • You take care of the day-to-day operational coordination within production (internally and to third parties). In this context, the objectives of the various services must be optimally co-ordinated.
    • You provide suggestions for improvement with the aim of developing the plant and keeping it viable in the long term.
    • You support the production specialist in the statistical follow-up of the process data with regards to the proposed improvements


Your profile

Do you like technical challenges, strive to innovate and work towards obtaining the best qualitative results? So do we! We will support you in expanding your knowledge,

building further on your Master’s degree in process technology or chemical engineering. We also appreciate an analytical mind, a sense of responsibility and networking skills.

We expect you to not compromise on health, safety and environmental issues. Furthermore, you master English and Dutch at a business level.
