Borealis provides services and products to customers around the world in collaboration with Borouge, a joint venture with the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC).

To support our Sales & Operations Planning Team in Vienna, we are currently looking for a part-time trainee for the period of 1 April 2018 to 31 October 2018.

Your tasks will include amongst others:

  • Using, maintaining and developing tools used for optimising polyolefins supply chain from raw material through production till sales.
  • Gathering data and performing analysis as well as reporting and presenting the outcome

You are the right candidate if you possess the following knowledge, education and skills:

  • Mid-way through a university degree (preferably Supply Chain Management): first year of master studies
  • Excellent Excel-Skills, including macros and dynamic graphics
  • Basic skills in programming
  • English language skills (professional proficiency written and oral)
  • Ability to work with multi-cultural teams in an international environment
  • Interested in Supply Chain as a career path

Following Austrian law regulations we offer, reflecting your experiences, skills and competencies, competitive compensation based on the collective labour agreement chemical industry starting at EUR 514,00 / month plus pro-rata Christmas and vacation bonus. The stated salary is calculated based on 16 hours / week.
