We are currently looking for a Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator for Central / Western Europe (f/m). The preferred location for this position is Linz, Austria.

 

You will be responsible for good operation of all port warehouses Borealis L.A.T is renting in Germany. This includes, amongst others:

  • Stock management by balancing inbound and outbound flows, in close cooperation with planning and customer service
  • Overlooking and continuous improving the warehouse operations (loading/unloading, storing, packaging) to drive down costs and increase the HSE&Q standards.
  • Closely monitoring incoming shipments and ensuring all necessary documents are in place.
  • Supported by your manager, continuously optimise the portfolio of port warehouses by negotiating contracts fit-for-purpose and by screening the market for better placed warehouses.

 

As Logistics coordinator, you will support the Central logistics road team by

  • Running tenders for certain markets
  • Following-up the performance of carriers
  • On-boarding new carriers
  • Various ad-hoc logistic related projects

 

You are the right candidate for this position if you possess the following experience, knowledge and skills:

  • Education in logistics (preferably bulk, bagging and port logistics)
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in warehousing & logistics
  • Preferably experience within the Chemical Industry
  • Good experience with SAP, BW and other relevant logistic systems 
  • Fluent spoken and written German and English
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Interpersonal & intercultural understanding
  • High ethical standards
  • Goal orientation and strong commercial awareness
  • Analytical thinking

 

Due to Austrian regulations, we are obligated to display the compensation package for our vacancies. Those packages are valid if the future role-holder will be located in Austria:

Following Austrian law regulations we offer, reflecting your experiences, skills and competencies, competitive compensation based on the collective labour agreement chemical industry starting at around EUR 42.913,50 annual gross salary. In addition we offer a yearly bonus and a voluntary company pension plan.
