Herbert Willerth receives Grand Decoration of Honour in Silver for Services to the Republic of Austria

On 14 November 2012 the Grand Decoration of Honour in Silver for Services to the Republic of Austria was conferred upon Herbert Willerth, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Borealis Group. In presenting the award, Federal Minister of Economy Dr. Reinhold Mitterlehner praised Herbert Willerth's outstanding achievements and services on behalf of the plastics industry in both Austria and abroad.

"As an extremely successful Austrian manager, Herbert Willerth's outstanding achievements and services on behalf of the Austrian and international plastics industry have made Austria a better place for business and research," says Dr. Reinhold Mitterlehner, Federal Minister of Economy. "With this award, Herbert Willerth is now getting the public recognition he deserves."

"Herbert Willerth has had an impressive career from the very start – from chemistry lab assistant all the way to the executive board and Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Borealis," says a pleased Mark Garrett, Borealis Chief Executive, "and we would like to congratulate Herbert on this special honour. We are proud that he is one of us."
