Polypropylene Cast Film

Innovative film packaging solutions that offer the perfect balance of cost and performance

Polypropylene (PP) cast films are versatile, multi-material structures suitable for various packaging applications, including laminated films, food packaging films, peelable lidding films, and technical films for surface protection.

We offer a wide range of PP grades that are ideally suited for processing on cast film lines, and which strike a careful balance between cost and performance. They are often used in combination with aluminum and other plastic films, including polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polyamide (PA) and polyethylene (PE), to create tailored films for a diverse range of applications.

Benefits of Our Polyolefin Materials

  • Hetero-phasic copolymers: Incorporating an ethylene-propylene rubber during a separate phase of the polymerization process, these grades offer a matte surface, low transparency, high toughness and stiffness, and a wide temperature range.
  • PP random copolymers: Grades that offer exceptional optical properties in terms of gloss and haze, as well as a high degree of softness, excellent heat sealing properties, and low stress whitening.
  • PP homopolymers: Available with different additive packages as well with nucleation, these materials are highly processable, resistant to heat, and exhibit a very good balance of stiffness and toughness balance, and have good optical properties in terms of gloss and haze.
