Craig Arnold was appointed Executive Vice President Polyolefins, Circular Economy Solutions and Innovation & Technology in February 2024. In April 2025, he assumed the role of Executive Vice President Commercial, responsible for Borealis' base chemicals and polyolefins businesses and circular economy solutions, among others.

Craig Arnold joined Borealis from Ferroglobe PLC, where he was Chief Commercial officer based in Madrid, Spain. Prior to this appointment, he had a long career at Dow Inc. where he held various senior management positions, including Executive Secondment (from Dow Inc.) and Advisor to the CEO at the Alliance to End Plastic Waste (AEPW) in Singapore, President Dow Sub-Sahara Africa in Johannesburg, South Africa, Global Commercial Vice President Dow Industrial Solutions for EMEAI in Zurich, Switzerland, and President Dow Australia & New Zealand in Melbourne, Australia, as well as other senior corporate roles separately in Houston and Michigan, USA. He has also served on numerous industry, academic and governmental boards.

Craig Arnold holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. He holds dual Swiss and South African citizenship and is married with two children.
