  • The Ellen MacArthur Foundation and UN Environment Program publish “The Global Commitment - Five Years In” Report and 2023 Progress Report on the Global Commitment
  • Since 2018, more than 1,000 organizations have given their backing to the Global Commitment Program to stop plastic packaging from becoming waste
  • Global efforts show progress on plastic pollution is possible – but world remains off track

As early signatories in 2018, we are proud to have been supporting the Global Commitment, led by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation in partnership with the UN Environment Programme, to stop plastic packaging from becoming waste.

We are proud to have transparently shared our progress via the Global Commitment Program. More work is to be done to tackle plastic pollution in addition to voluntary actions: we need both an ambitious international legally binding instrument and greater business action towards a circular economy if we are to stop the flow of plastic pollution.

Read the Ellen MacArthur Foundation and UN Environment Program’s New Plastics Economy Global Commitment Five Years and Progress Report 2023 to find out more about the efforts we, and others, make to turn the vision of a world without plastic waste or pollution into a reality.
