Our Borcycle ™ advanced mechanical recycling technology is developed in order to enhance packaging sustainability while ensuring that the increasing demands on performance and aesthetics are met, thus allowing converters and brand owners to raise the recycled content in their applications.
Borcycle™ UF551MO is a polypropylene compound made of 50% PCR content, and the newly launched grade under this brand.
Borcycle™ UF551MO is characterised by an outstanding balance in terms of stiffness, impact and fluidity, thus offering superior down-gauging potential than comparable recycling solutions available in the market. Borcycle™ UF551MO is ideal for use in high-quality rigid packaging applications, such as non-food caps and closures.
In fact, due to the nature of the material, the functionality of a cap or closure may be affected by natural variations in PCR materials. Using Borcycle™ UF551MO, customers can include PCR content into caps and closures, while ensuring the application meets its required functionalities, delivering both a high quality and more sustainable packaging. Borcycle™ UF551MO is particularly recommended for screw and flip top caps in laundry and homecare segments as well as for the production of toiletries articles.
