Borealis has appointed Gilles Rochas to the position of Vice President Moulding with effect from January 1, 2006. He has nearly 20 years experience in the polymer industry, the last 14 years with Borealis, and holds a degree in Engineering from the University of Troyes.
In taking up his new responsibilities, Gilles Rochas commented: "The moulding business will continue to focus on customer-driven innovation. We are committed to create value with leading Borealis technology and an excellent product portfolio for a wide range of moulded applications."
Borealis' moulding business supplies polyolefins for injection, rotational and blow moulding processing technologies. It has developed a leading position in a wide range of applications like bottles, thin wall packaging, caps and closures, transport packaging, houseware and healthcare utilising its proprietary technology to create value to its customers.
