Borealis appoints new Vice President Wire and Cable

Borealis has announced the appointment of Hans Christian Ambjerg in the position of Vice President Wire & Cable, effective November 1st, 2005. Hans Christian will be based in Mechelen, Belgium. Hans Christian holds a Master of Science degree in chemical engineering from the Danish Technical University of Copenhagen and an Executive MBA from the Scandinavian International Management Institute.

Hans Christian brings with him 15 years of commercial experience working with a variety of companies in the US and Denmark. His latest position was Group Vice President, Business Development at Chr. Hansen, Denmark.

"His appointment will strengthen our commitment to the wire & cable business worldwide."
