In yesterday’s national finale of the Austria’s Leading Companies (ALC) event Borealis made it to second place in the category big international corporations.

About the award

Austria's Leading Companies (ALC), also referred to as Austria’s most important business competition, recognizes the diverse achievements of Austrian companies on an annual basis. The award is being presented by the media outlet “Die Presse” together with KSV1870 and PwC Austria.

The winners are determined based on their balance sheet figures and economic performance over the last three financial years using a specially developed objective key figure model. Participants can also gain bonus points on the subject of quality and safety by means of the TÜV AUSTRIA safety check.

Sharing the recognition with all Borealis employees

“We are honoured and proud to have been ranked second in the national finale of Austria’s leading international company. Above all, my sincere thanks go to all employees of Borealis, who work with great commitment, day by day, to achieve our goals. Be it our apprentices, our people on site, or in our office locations. All of you make it happen. This one goes to all of you!” comments a happy Thomas Gangl, Borealis CEO.
