Borealis Tops Austria’s Technology Dashboard 2025

Vienna, Austria – March 24, 2026 – Borealis once again demonstrates its strong innovation performance and is proud to be recognized as Austria’s leading innovator by the European Patent Office. With 115 new priority patent applications filed in 2025, Borealis ranks first in the Technology Dashboard 2025. The Technology Dashboard, formerly known as the European Patent Index, ranks companies according to their patenting activity. This result confirms the company’s long term commitment to innovation and its role as one of Europe’s most forward looking chemical and materials companies.

With a global portfolio of more than 10,600 granted and pending patents, Borealis highlights innovation as a core component of its We4Customers strategy.
