Borealis is proud to be awarded - for a successive third year - the coveted Gold CSR (Gold Corporate Social Responsibility) status by EcoVadis, an international provider of business sustainability ratings.

Borealis was among the top one percent of all suppliers assessed by EcoVadis in the category of chemicals and fertilizers, thereby confirming our commitment to providing customers with the comfort that Borealis is a leading supplier in terms of sustainability.

The EcoVadis Supplier Sustainability Rating system assesses a wide range of CSR indicators in the core areas environment, labour practices, ethics, and sustainable procurement. The most recent ratings round was completed in June 2019.

“We are pleased to support our customers and value chain partners in their sustainability endeavours by participating in EcoVadis and increasing transparency in the supply chain,” says Craig Halgreen, Borealis Director Sustainability & Public Affairs. “Receiving this gold status once again underlines our continuous commitment to all areas of sustainability and reflects our efforts to be a frontrunner in our industry.”
