Companies have agreed to a three-year, exclusive main sponsorship of the Al Jazira football club in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE), starting with the upcoming 2008-2009 football season.
The International Petroleum Investment Company (IPIC) and Borealis, a leading provider of innovative, value creating plastics solutions, have agreed to a three-year, exclusive main sponsorship of the Al Jazira football club in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE), starting with the upcoming 2008-2009 football season.
The Al Jazira football team competes in the Premier League of the UAE's Etisalat National League and was placed second last season behind the 2007-2008 champion, Al Shabbab. The Etisalat league started in 1973 and is now considered one of the most exciting and challenging in the Asian continent.
