Borealis employs stringent health and safety measures to prevent spread of COVID-19 while taking steps to maintain economic stability

As a responsible company, Borealis is taking all steps within our power to help stop the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and protect our employees and business partners. Ensuring a safe work environment for our people is, and always will be, our top priority. At the same time, Borealis is taking measures aimed at maintaining economic stability.

Polyolefins supplied by Borealis are essential raw materials used in the healthcare, hygiene, and packaging industries.Our fertilizers and technical nitrogen products are vital components of the food and medical supply chains.

At this point in time, our European production locations and warehouses are maintaining operations. We are working closely with our customers, suppliers and value chain partners to proactively manage supply chain risks. As a global company with a strong local presence, we have prioritized a series of mitigating actions to reduce the risk of potential supply chain disruptions. We are also encouraging our value chain partners to reach out to us proactively via their direct contacts at Borealis to enable us to refine these mitigating actions.

We would like to thank all our employees and partners, whether working on site or remotely from home, for their efforts to ensure safe operations and business continuity during the COVID-19 pandemic. These are truly unprecedented circumstances and we appreciate your dedication.

Borealis continues to proactively monitor and review developments and data in order to adapt our plans and mitigate the impact on our people and business. We will continue to provide regular updates and information by way of our established channels.
