Cables for industries and buildings have to comply with stringent safety and environmental regulations, while also remaining cost-effective. To meet this need, we offer low voltage (LV) cabling based on our Visico™/Ambicat™ technology. This moisture-cured cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) solution offers higher productivity and output than alternatives, and also uses an environmentally friendly organic acid as its active substance as opposed to harmful tin-organic additives.
We also offer a unique halogen-free, flame-retardant system in the form of Casico™ jackets. Around 20% lighter than alternative plastics, this product exhibits reduced heat release and smoke generation, meaning no corrosive gas emissions are produced, reducing secondary fire damage to equipment and installations. Cross-linked Visico/Casico compounds offer downsizing potential of up to 40%, boast superior dielectric properties, and represent a cost-effective insulation solution compared to polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
